Number 5 – Migingo Island, Africa
Migingo Island is a densely populated island with an area of 2000 sq ft, located in the Lake Victory of Kenya. Due to their disagreement about who the territory actually belongs to, Uganda and Kenya have been at odds over Migingo.
Migingo Island, which is only half the area of a soccer field, is home to about 500 people. Compared to Mumbai, the world’s most congested metropolis, this little island is more than twice as tight. There are many brothels, a pharmacy, four taverns, and a hair salon there. People living here really make a handsome amount of money by catching Nile Perch and selling them to international markets. However, they have very limited options to enjoy their money on the island.
