Number 11 – Freedom Cove, British Columbia, Canada
This unusual place is located off the British Columbian coast of Tofino. It is an artificial island that Wayne Adams and Catherine King developed. Freedom Cove is made up of several platforms, including a dance floor, a dance gallery, a lighthouse, solar panels and greenhouses.
The land is often compared to a living paradise, as it has everything a human needs for survival along with a pollution-free and chaos-free environment. It takes a boat ride of 45 minutes to reach the nearest town, so it may be a difficult place to live for the ones who don’t want to spend their lives in isolation. However, there is an internet connection in Freedom Cove.
