7. Sahar Tabar
In 2019, Iran’s Sahar Tabar underwent a series of plastic surgeries to imitate Angelina Jolie but the outcomes gave her an emaciated appearance, and she became known as “zombie Angelina Jolie” on social media. She was then arrested and sentenced to ten years in prison for blasphemy but served just 14 months before being released.
It is widely speculated that Sahar Tabar underwent numerous cosmetic surgeries to resemble a spooky version of Angelina Jolie. Reports claim that upon her release from jail, Tabar acknowledged some cosmetic procedures such as a nose job, lip fillers and liposuction, but stated the infamous images were created with make-up and editing via Photoshop.
Sahar Tabar stated that she wished for fame since she was a young child. She said she will not even install Instagram on her phone anymore, nor have a page. Sahar mentioned her mother warned her against such actions, but the advice of strangers or friends sometimes overrides the words of parents. Tabar appears to regret having had cosmetic surgeries.
