2. Hot Glue Stick
Try using a hot glue stick to remove the broken key. Melt the end of the glue stick with a lighter until it’s soft, then press it firmly against the exposed part of the broken key. Hold it there until the glue hardens, which usually takes about 1 to 2 minutes. Once the glue is set, gently pull the stick straight back, and the key should come out with it.
Alternatively, you can use super glue on the key fragment, carefully aligning it with the key head and holding them together until the glue dries. Be cautious not to let glue seep into the lock, as it can cause further complications. If glue does enter the lock, it’s best to call a locksmith.
